In February 2009 Canon introduced three color printers, the LBP-9600C, 9500C and 9100C, branded as Laser Shot in Australia/New Zealand and Satera in Japan.

The LBP-9000 series’ high yield CRG-322ii cartridges are physically the same as the standard yield cartridges used by the HP^® Color LaserJet^® Enterprise CP5525 , but with page yields of 13,000 for black and 15,000 for color. The low yield CRG-322 cartridges are physically the same as the standard yield cartridges used by the HP^® Color LaserJet^® Pro CP5225 , but with page yields of 6,500 for black and 7,500 for color.

There is no visible seal or pull tab on the outside of the cartridge and no drum shutter. Replacement cartridges ship with a shipping protector in place. A chip is located on the waste bin of each cartridge and is required for proper operation.
